Welcome to the year 1815 and to Mayfair, one of the most fashionable parts of London. During this year’s social season, eligible young people and their parents will spend their mornings on social calls, afternoons with activities in the park, and evenings at extravagant dinners and romantic balls. It’s time for young people to fall in love and make their families proud by securing good matches. Sometimes, those two are not compatible.

Mayfair is a larp about romance, family, stories, and the London season. It is inspired by the romantic takes on regency society that can be found in shows such as Bridgerton and Sanditon. Mayfair is not a historically accurate event, but rather, it uses the popular culture perception of the Regency era to create a vibes-based setting. Therefore, we are calling it a Regency fantasy larp. This also means that costumes do not need to be period-appropriate and that this might be the time to pull out costumes that fit the general silhouette but are made of very unhistoric materials or where you incorporate slightly earlier or later fashion in your character’s wardrobe.

Practical

Mayfair is organised by Atropos, together with Lu Larpová and Iva Vávrová. It will take place at Úsobí Castle in the Czech Republic, where different castle suites will represent different London houses.

The larp will be for 32 people and is played in English. We will also organise a bus from Prague to the location, which you will be able to buy a ticket for later.

Run 1: 21–25 October 2025

Cost:

Sponsor fee: €645 (+€15 Stripe fee) – Two sponsor tickets will pay for one additional subsidised ticket.
Standard fee: €495 (+€10 Stripe fee)
Subsidised fee (16 available in total): €195 (+€5 Stripe fee)

Subsidised tickets go to people:

  • From the Czech Republic.
  • From low-income countries.
  • Who are currently unemployed, students, or on sick leave.
  • Who work a low-income job or are self-employed with a low salary.
  • Who do not have any other international larps planned during 2025 and would not be able to afford to go at the regular price.

We will not ask you why you need a subsidised ticket since we are using an honour system. Everyone who applies for one will have an equal chance for ten out of sixteen of the tickets. However, since we are running the larp in the Czech Republic, we wanted to make sure that we earmarked a number of subsidised tickets for local larpers. Therefore, at least six of the sixteen subsidised tickets will go to Czech larpers.
